A Sweet Little Architect

Ava has made this cute little gingerbread house with her Mom. They have done a great job! It looks like Ava is pretty excited, too. These are the things Moms do when their kids are home on vacation to keep them sane and also to create sweet memories. Nice work, girls!

This is one of the bags I sewed for my lovely friend, Tara. She commissioned several for family members. I had so much fun making them I was almost sorry to see them go. I got the little zipper critters from my former sister-in-law, Marianne. She lives in Arizona and is one of the most creative and resilient people I know. Thank heavens we have been able to stay friendly all these years.
